Diamond-coated tools with electrical conductivity

GCT has announced a technical innovation for the machining of materials where the electrical conductivity of the tools is a prerequisite – diamond-coated tools with electrical conductivity.

The company says until now, there were limits to the use of diamond-coated tools, as the electrical conductivity was no longer given due to the coating of the tools.  However this innovation makes the advantages of diamond-coated tools available for the highly efficient machining of printed circuit boards and other base materials.

GCT says this application is now available for all its tools.
